Hoy, el ilustrador Javier Charro ha propuesto una cosa muy interesante a través de su página de Facebook. Dentro de su sección "Microconsejos del día" hablaba de como se puede aprender permitiendo a otro ilustrador que reinterprete uno de tus trabajos. Como detalles que tu has pasado por alto, como la gama de colores o la luz , en manos de otra persona le dan una personalidad completamente diferente a la ilustración, sacándole más potencial. Charro ha lanzado su desafío al aire, y rápidamente he recogido el guante. ¿Quien podría resistirse a que este gran ilustrador "metiese mano" a uno de tus trabajos?
En un rato, Javier ha reinterpretado a mi pequeña bailarina. ¿Que os parece el resultado? Yo me he quedado con la boca abierta. ¿Como no pude caer en ponerle sombras proyectadas? ¿En acentuar más el contraste de luces en la cara? Para la próxima tono nota, al final si que es verdad que se aprende mucho con el experimento... :D. ¡Gracias Javi!
Illustrator Javier Charro posted a very interesting proposal through his Facebook page today. He was talking in his "microadvice of the day" section about how you can learn by letting another illustrator reimagine one of your works. Things like details you missed, or the color palette or lighting, in the hands of somebody else, can give a wholly new personality to the piece, breathing a lot more potential into it. Charro offered himself, and I had to accept. Who could resist having such a great artist "meddle" with her work?
In a very short time, Javier has reimagined my little dancer. What do you think of the end result? I was in awe. How could I not think of drawing her projected shadow on the clock? Of highlighting the light on her face? I'm making a mental note for the next one, that you really learn a lot with this experiment... :D Thanks, Javi!
